The Covelya Group opperate primarily in research and development of sonar and technology equipment.
They needed to relocate a department from its current location in Molesey to join the rest of the company on a campus to maintain ease of business continuity.
The newly purchased site had poor quality cladding system which the Covelya insurance team would not insure and also had large fridge and storage facilities throughout and insufficient office facilities.
There was also an old mezzanine which was condemned as unfit for use and had to be removed from the building.

Their new space was to provide multiple functions for office staff, production and manufacturing teams, R&D technicians, as well as extensive storage facilities and a new canteen function.
The project had to be divided into various key sections to maintain programme and while the interior layout and design was in development, the existing cladding and interior of the building was stripped out and completely replaced ahead of any internal fit out works.

Quantile Project Management were engaged to work alongside the clients preferred contractor and to drive the design and cost phase to achieve a contract commencement date and to establish how the various phases of the project could be delivered.
The client had a tight deadline to maintain and Quantile Project Management were able to manage the different and complex project strategies and maintain the critical end date.
This involved many moving parts and elements to the project which had to be carefully coordinate to ensure success.
